FAQ

Things people often ask.

What's included in the cohort?

Every cohort member gets a boutique apartment with private workspace, curated by our local hospitality partners, and a dedicated desk at our coworking space right in the heart of Pizzo. You'll also have a community manager on the ground to help you settle in and make the most of your stay.

Beyond that, you'll get access to the full community calendar: weekly aperitivo meetups, community dinners, skill exchanges, language swaps, sailing, cooking classes, hiking, and more. You pick what you want to add to your experience, when you want to.

In what language does the hub run?

Italian and English, side by side. Every community event, every form, every sign. Many locals speak Italian only, while our community manager is fluent in English, Italian, Polish, and Norwegian.

How expensive is it to stay in Pizzo Calabro?

Pizzo is one of the most affordable places in Southern Europe. Calabria's cost-of-living index sits around 35 on Numbeo — well below Lisbon, Barcelona, or even Madeira.

How can I reach Pizzo Calabro?

By air: fly into Lamezia Terme airport (SUF), 30 km away. Direct connections from London, Berlin, Zurich, Brussels, Bratislava and more — including Ryanair and easyJet routes. Alternatively, you can fly into Reggio Calabria airport (REG), about 130 km south, with connections from Barcelona, Paris, Katowice and more. Airport pickup is available on request.

By train: Pizzo has its own station on the Tyrrhenian line. Trains run from Rome (~4.5 h), Naples, and Reggio Calabria.

By car: take the A2 motorway (Salerno–Reggio Calabria), exit at Pizzo.

Getting around locally: the old town is walkable, while for the coast and day trips renting a scooter or car is recommended.
